A short calibration exercise at setup measures each resident's own natural response speed. In live play, what counts is how much faster than their own baseline they respond — not raw reaction time against everyone else in the room.
A rolling fair-play rating
Like a golf handicap, every resident builds a rating across sessions. Points earned get weighted by it on the leaderboard, so a strong player's score counts for a little less and a developing player's counts for a little more — keeping the standings close, session after session.
