Terms of Service

This is the agreement between your community ("you" or "the Community") and Vantedge ("we," "us," or "Senior Challenge") for the hardware and software described below. Written in plain language on purpose — email hello@vantedgecare.com if anything here is unclear.

01

What You're Buying

Senior Challenge is sold in two parts. A one-time hardware purchase gets your community a block of tablets and charging hardware, preloaded and ready to play on arrival. A recurring monthly subscription, billed per block, covers the game catalog, cloud hosting, the Custom Content Studio, and ongoing support.

A community with more than one block runs them all under a single account — one subscription bill covering every block, not a separate one per block.

02

Hardware Ownership & Warranty

The tablets and charging hardware are yours once purchased — this isn't a lease. Hardware carries the manufacturer's own warranty; if a unit arrives damaged or fails under normal use within the warranty period, tell us and we'll coordinate a replacement through the manufacturer or our supplier at no cost to you.

Owning the hardware doesn't include the software running on it. If your subscription ends, the tablets remain yours, but they lose access to the game catalog and cloud services described in Section 3 below.

03

Software Subscription & Cancellation

The monthly subscription has no minimum term — cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice (email is fine). You're billed monthly to the payment method on file until cancellation takes effect.

If a payment fails, we'll try to reach you before pausing service. A paused account can be restored by updating payment on file; an account that stays unpaid for 30 days may be cancelled outright. Cancelling — by choice or for non-payment — ends access to the game catalog, cloud hosting, and support. It does not affect your ownership of the hardware itself.

04

The Fair Play System

Every game session applies Senior Challenge's fair-play adjustments automatically — response-time normalization, a rolling per-resident skill rating, and any accessibility accommodations your activities coordinator has set up for a resident.

This system is designed to keep outcomes competitive across a wide range of ability levels — it is a best-effort fairness feature, not a guarantee that any specific resident will win a given session or that the adjustment will feel proportionate in every case. The coordinator can adjust an individual resident's accessibility settings at any time.

05

Community Points & Casino Night

Community Points are earned by playing and can be redeemed by your coordinator for rewards your community sets up — they carry real value inside your account and are never real money.

Casino Chips are a separate, unrelated currency used only during Casino Night. Every chip is given out free at the start of the night, has no value outside that game, and cannot be purchased, redeemed, exchanged, or converted into Community Points, cash, or anything else in either direction. No wagering of real money or anything of value takes place on this platform, and nothing described in this agreement is a lottery, wagering game, or game of chance for a prize.

06

Resident Data & Privacy

We collect what the platform needs to run — resident names (or the identifiers your coordinator assigns), game history, and the accessibility settings a coordinator sets up — and use it only to operate the platform for your community. We don't sell it, and we don't share it beyond what running a session actually requires.

This is an activities and entertainment platform, not a medical or health care service — we don't collect or handle protected health information, and this agreement isn't a HIPAA business associate agreement. Engagement analytics (participation, session frequency) are visible to your facility's own staff, not shared outside your account.

07

Your Responsibilities

You're responsible for keeping the tablets reasonably secure and charged between sessions, for giving your activities coordinator the access needed to run the platform, and for making sure residents (or their authorized representative) are comfortable participating. Physical damage from misuse, rather than a manufacturing defect, isn't covered by the warranty in Section 2.

08

Limitation of Liability

We'll do our best to keep the platform running reliably, but we can't promise uninterrupted service — network issues, device failures, or third-party outages are sometimes outside our control. Our liability for any claim related to this service is limited to the fees you've paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

09

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. If a change materially affects your rate or what's included, we'll email the contact on file at least 30 days before it takes effect.

10

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
